The exhibition MINDSCAPE was born out of a spontaneous and enthusiastic collaboration between independent curator Suzy Royal, gallery director and curator Luisa Catucci, and artist and curator Yvonne Andreini, as a reaction to the accumulated frustration during the years of the global paralyzation-pandemic. The pandemics’s anagram is MINDSCAPE, and mindscapes are precisely the mental worlds, ontological categories in metaphysics, where most creative people sought refuge not only during the pandemic, but also in the face of the most recent dramatic political events. Mindscape is created by the range of a person’s thoughts and imagination, regarded as a panorama capable of being contemplated by another person. It is the landscape of thoughts, a reification of the domain of imaginary entities, memories, feelings, ideas, fears, or any other object in the mind, seen together as making up metaphoric features.

La mostra MINDSCAPE nasce da una collaborazione spontanea ed entusiastica tra la curatrice indipendente Suzy Royal, la direttrice di galleria e curatrice Luisa Catucci, e l’artista e curatrice Yvonne Andreini, come reazione alla frustra accumulata La Commissione ha concluso che gli anni della paralisi globale-pandemia. L’anagramma della pandemie è MENDSCAPE, e i mentali sono proprio i mondi mentali, categorie ontologiche nella metafisica, dove la maggior parte dei creativi ha cercato rifugio non solo durante la pandemia, ma anche di fronte alla più recente politica drammatica eventi ici. La mente è creata dalla gamma dei pensieri e dell’immaginazione di una persona, considerata come un panorama capace di essere contemplato da un’altra persona. È il paesaggio dei pensieri, una reificazione del dominio delle entità immaginarie, dei ricordi, dei sentimenti, delle idee, delle paure, o di qualsiasi altro oggetto della mente, visto insieme come costituiscono tratti metaforici.
